A GOOD TRIP STARTS PREPARED

Know before
you cast.

A few essentials to make your first visit a little easier.

01

Be there before the draw

Draw time comes before fishing time. Leave yourself time to check in, understand the session and set up.

02

Know the fishing rules

The posted schedule says “4 rods every night.” No millet or cow manure. Confirm the rod limit for daytime sessions and any special tournament.

03

Bring cash for your entry

Cash is preferred. Ask what your entry includes, which pots are optional, and how the weigh-in and payouts work before entering.

04

Pick up bait at the lake

Chow, oats, grits and Wicked brand flavors are available on site. Bring your tackle, a comfortable chair and weather-appropriate layers. A headlamp is useful for an evening session.
